RMHN HISTORY
FOUNDED ON COLLABORATION
Rocky Mountain Health Network (RMHN) was
established in 1991 by St. Vincent Healthcare and its affiliated medical staff. The goal was simple: to create a comprehensive network of providers that could
partner with commercial payers to deliver quality care throughout Yellowstone County and surrounding areas. In April 2022, Intermountain Health and SCL merged sharing a common vision helping people live the healthiest lives possible.
GROWING TO SERVE MONTANA AND WYOMING
Today, RMHN unites hospitals, surgery
centers, primary care physicians, specialists,
and allied health professionals. Together, the
focus is improving healthcare quality,
controlling costs, and expanding access for
employers, patients, and communities.

Montana and Wyoming, RMHN’s
collaborative model ensures access to
high-quality care.
SIMPLIFYING HEALTHCARE PARTNERSHIPS
RMHN makes it easier for providers to participate in multiple health plans. As a messenger model, RMHN serves as a liaison with managed care organizations, while giving members the flexibility to opt in or out of payer agreements. Currently, the network manages 30+ payer agreements, working proactively with payers, third-party administrators, and partner networks to maintain high-quality healthcare access.
EXPANDING THROUGH INNOVATION
In Fall 2013, RMHN launched Rocky Mountain Accountable Health Network (RMAHN), a wholly owned subsidiary. RMAHN serves as the Accountable Care Organization (ACO) for St. Vincent Healthcare and its affiliated providers. Through RMHN, members gain access to the ACO and its innovative care initiatives.
